Jake’s background in clinical and nonclinical hospital operations, service line strategy, finance, and data analytics has enabled him to successfully partner with clients on a broad range of engagements related to patient access and throughput, strategic and financial planning, and network development. He recognizes the importance of understanding project implications through the lens of each stakeholder, and he is proactive in using those perspectives to develop impactful and sustainable solutions. Clients value his ability to listen to their needs, along with his commitment to developing strong relationships and building inclusive teams that facilitate organizational buy-in across all levels of the workforce.
At ECG, Jake is dedicated to partnering with oncology programs to address a wide variety of programmatic needs, including strategic transactions, patient access improvement initiatives, financial forecasting, and strategic and capital planning. Through these engagements, Jake has helped cancer programs across the country expand their services to broader populations and accelerate the cancer care journey for patients. Recently, Jake led a referral management initiative at an NCI-Designated Cancer Center that improved patient time to appointment by 20%. Prior to joining ECG, Jake worked at the Christ Hospital Health Network, where he supported strategic growth initiatives for the oncology service line, including developing market share analyses and financial models that informed strategic decisions, such as expanding oncology services in targeted markets.
